We will be commencing cultural tours from July 2022. We will be taking bookings from early June 2022.

Tae Rak Guided Cultural Walk - 2 hours
The 2 hour guided walk of the Tae Rak (Lake Condah) wetlands provides an overview of the Gunditjmara story and the lake's extensive marine and birdlife, and continues on to see the network of aquaculture systems designed to trap and harvest kooyang (eel) for food and trade.

Tungatt Mirring | Stone Country | Half Day Tour
This tour takes visitors through the history of the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape. The tour covers Budj Bim National Park & Lake Surprise, and Kurtonitj IPA where guides show you the living Indigenous culture and the landscape through Gunditjmara eyes.

Tungatt Mirring | Stone Country | Full Day Tour
This tour takes visitors through the history of the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape from creation to farming. The tour covers Budj Bim National Park, Lake Gorrie drystone walls and Kurtonitj IPA, and a guide walk of the Tae Rak (Lake Condah) wetlands.

Kurtonitj IPA, Lake Gorrie, Tae Rak (Lake Condah). Lunch is included.

Yarkeen Yaang | Swamp Dreaming | Full Day Tour
This tour shares the stories from the swampy marshes of Tyrendarra and Kurtonitj IPAs, to Tae Rak (Lake Condah), learning how the Budj Bim Lava flows provided the basis for a complex system of channels engineered by the Gunditjmara in order to trap, store, and harvest kooyang (eels) and fish. After lunch, enjoy a guided walk of the Lake Condah wetlands.
